Agia Fotia Crete
53km south-east of Agios Nikolaos is the picturesque village of
Agia Fotia. The surrounding area is one of the most scenic in
the County of Lasithi with many superb coves and beaches which
bring many visitors during the summer months.
Close by an ancient cemetery of the Proto-Minoan age was
excavated, revealing 250 tombs and associated artefacts which
are now on display in the Archaeological Museum of Iraklio.
