Stalis Crete
The
charming seaside resort of Stalis is about 33km east of
Heraklion in an attractive area with gorgeous beaches and
meadows. The settlement is very small and most, if not all, of
the inhabitants make a living from tourism which has developed
somewhat in the last few years.
Stalis located between Limenas Hersonissos and Malia (about 6 km
from Limenas and 1 km from Malia), in fact driving from
Malia to Stalis it looks like an extension of the famous
holiday resort.
Along the inner road from Malia to Stalis there is a continuus
chain of resturants, taverns, cafes and all kind of
accommodations.
The beach though of Stalis is quiter then Malia as well as the
small resort itself..
